Three days of engaging presentations, valuable conversations and a special recognition of our long-standing commitment.
From the 5th to 7th October 2026, IVA Analysentechnik once again attended the annual meeting of the German Association for Stable Isotope Research (GASIR) in Freiburg, Germany. Held at the University of Freiburg, the event brought together three days of interesting presentations, lively discussions and many opportunities to connect in person.
The GASIR annual meeting has been part of IVA's history since the very beginning. For 30 years, our CEO Kerstin Pralle has attended the meeting every year, supporting the event through both her personal dedication and sponsorship. As we celebrate our company's 30th anniversary, we look back on this long-standing connection with particular appreciation.
One especially memorable moment was the personal recognition of our commitment during the ASI general assembly. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this recognition and for the many years of trust and collaboration.

Alongside the many interesting presentations and scientific contributions, the meeting once again offered plenty of opportunities for personal exchange. At our booth, during breaks and throughout the poster sessions, we enjoyed a wide range of conversations and technical discussions, some of which continued well into the evening over relaxed gatherings in Freiburg.
Our booth also had plenty to offer. We showcased a selection of products and accessories for stable isotope analysis, including capsules and boats, isotope standards and EA-IRMS accessories.
It was especially nice to reconnect with so many familiar faces while also getting to know new participants. And beyond the conference programme, there was still some time to enjoy Freiburg's charming old town and its famous Bächle, the small water channels running through the streets.

We're looking back on a thoroughly successful GASIR 2026 and would like to thank the organisers and everyone who visited us for the insightful conversations, welcoming atmosphere and valuable exchange of ideas.
We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year in Erlangen!
